Endless

In English we were asked to write a poem about WWI, this is what i came up with.

The candles burning dim
My fellows see no end
The darkness draws us in
But we can only pretend
I write this letter from hell
From where we’ve been condemned
This glorified agenda
Of which we did not intend

Waiting in the corner
Waiting for the time
The sound of an unholy whistle
Our death contracts had been signed
This burnt and crumbled plane
Of lost and broken souls
These murderous guns of pain
No resistance could uphold

All my comrades fell
Like a raging water fall
I only try to expel
The horrific thoughts that I store

A never ending plague no soldiers left unclean
All hopes had been diminished
And all thoughts of self esteem
two years had passed in time
Some so mentally impaired
Tormented every night
From my midsummer’s nightmare

hope you enjoyed

Move On My Friend

I have a good friend who has mentioned to me that he feels guilty for something he has done, for the past few weeks i've been trying to convince him of my opinnion on the matter ( but he has proven to be rather stubborn :P) so i wrote this to put the way i feel in the context.

When she steps forth, my hearts on fire

It seems to me she, is whom I desire

But this is bound, by a gentle rope

For she has taken the oath of all oaths

For another soul belongs to she

Undoubtedly great and cherishing is he

Those repulsive feelings inside of me

Must never resurface so all can see

As long as they are happy I don’t really mind

What I must give up, for the better of this time

Actively so, my actions have been dormant

Those of my good fellow are even more important

I try to ignore the feelings, when she is in splendour

I’ll always be there right next to her ready to defend her

But I still have feelings for her and they must be stored

I’ll try my best but I can’t hide them all.

Harry, its alright, i know you love her ( and i slap you if you didn't!)
Don't worry about how i feel, it would make me so much happier if you'd disregard how i feel about her and enjoy your life guilt free.

The Shadow of My Thoughts

This poem talks about a very significant aspect of my life, someone that i care about alot. This poem inparticular, illustrates , to me this person is very important and that i still care about her even though we've been and gone.
For a while there, i felt really down and thought nothing was going right, i have learnt to let go of all my "unwanted feelings" which only brang me down..

I’ve spread my wings, I’ve been set free

All my unwanted feelings set to drift at sea

I see no reason, to continue this way

When the sun rises for a brand new day

I still want you in my heart

Somewhere inside

If you ever wish to know

I’ll curl up away and hide

The way I feel

 Cannot be known

It would jeopardise our friendship

With an uneasy tone

But I’ll never leave you

I’ve thought things through

I’ll never forget…..

How much I care for you.

Winters Call and Hers

She is a cold mistress,
She is beautiful but vexatious,
Soft but intruding,
And the only show of love she shows is when she goes away,

But she is so much more than the snow,
She is nowhere the size yet all the more grand,
She is painful not to see,
And more beautiful than is truly kind,
She can be feisty but that only serves to make her cuter then feared,
She shows her love in every smile and every way,
And I think about her everyday.

But my heart now longs for her by side,
Her smile is enough to blow my mind,
Yes she is more wonderful than anyone else you could find.

The Foreseeable End

I do believe this poem does not require any in-depth explination, also i don't feel comfortable about this topic. I just thought by blogging it i could just let it out, and hopefully by letting it out i can get over it.

My feelings for you were ever so strong
But in time they drift away
It was bound to end like it did
You were never going to stay

There once was a time
When we both thought the same
When all was happy
 And love was stained

 But after a while
 Our feelings started to fade
I felt as if it was my entire fault
I was the only one to blame

When I think of you, like I use to do
I feel so ashamed…
At times I wish we never happened!
The feeling drives me insane

Our dying days were coming
I felt it as I feel the moon
We were standing face to face
The only two in the room

The deed had been fulfilled
Now a relic of my past
You will always be my first
But never be my last.

I hope you can learn something from my mistakes, also any of you out there who are in school and have a crush on someone, i advice you to just ignore it and get on with life.. having highschool-relationships only end up with someone getting hurt. And anyway, being friends is such much easier then having a girlfriend/boyfriend in highschool.

Friends are more important always remember that, they will always be there for you.

Thunder and Lightning

This is the very first poem i ever wrote, it's about a thunder storm passing over and how much distruction it causes, yet will still regard it as some of natures beauty. This poem has little meaning or relevance to my life.

but sometimes when i read this poem i think of each word being a metaphor and i relate it to period in my life when i thought a thunder storm was going on in my life and destroying every train of though i had.

The spark in the distance
The echo that lies far
The thunder and lightning
The ignition of a car

The innocence of nature
It feels no remorse
Anyone who commits
Will be exposed to its force

The violent impact if this disaster
The thunder and lightning is approaching faster and faster
The first bolt is thrown igniting a fire
The thunder bellows louder than an orchestral choir

All sees grim with spreading fear
But all of a sudden the storm clouds cleared
All calms down declining of prior tension
This spectacular lightshow caught everyone’s attention

Now it is known to get out of natures path
Because it won’t be reluctant to express its full wrath
everyone is struck with honest admiration
and there is no need for any further explanation.

hope you enjoyed

What I do When I Think of You

Ever had that one person who makes your heart race when you're with them? A person that is so beautiful it makes a moon look like a spec of dirt? Someone who means the world to you?. well this poem is about someone who fits in  all of those catergories.

i hope when reading you think of that special person in your life and how amazing they are.

You are so beautiful
Your scent is in the air
The luminescent glow
Of your wavy luscious hair

Gazing at the moon
As it begins to rise
Everything is more beautiful
Reflected in your eyes

When we are together
My heart begins to pound
The echo of your voice
A voice of heavenly sounds

But when we are apart
My heart begins to drown
Overwhelmed in sadness
As I begin to frown
When our thoughts converge
My mind is set free
And then I suddenly realise how much you mean to me

i hope you enjoyed.
